About Synap Kids

Synap Kids is a youth-led initiative under nonprofit status dedicated to advancing pediatric brain health through education, storytelling, and advocacy. We work to make neuroscience accessible and empowering for children, families, and communities by translating complex brain science into age-appropriate, human-centered learning.

Through educational resources, youth-led chapters, outreach initiatives, and policy-driven advocacy, Synap Kids builds neurological literacy, reduces stigma around brain conditions, and amplifies young voices in pediatric health. Today, we are a growing global initiative inspiring curiosity, resilience, and informed action around children’s brain health.

Founder and CEO

Adi Veluvolu is a rising high school senior, youth researcher, and pediatric health advocate working at the intersection of neuroscience, public health, and equity. He is the founder of Synap Kids, a youth-led initiative focused on making brain health education accessible and stigma-free for children and families. He is leading Synap Kids to new hieghts advancing in creating helps to help premature babies, and publishing books to spread education across the world.

Adi’s work explores healthcare disparities in neuroscience, particularly their impact on BIPOC communities. He is currently testing a lead-detection awareness sticker to support pediatric lead poisoning awareness, alongside building R-based data models to identify common patterns of lead exposure. His work blends research, technology, and advocacy to create practical, prevention-focused solutions led by youth.
